A 2012 settlement worth a purported $90 million to Class Members with $11 million in attorneys’ fees was overturned on appeal, criticized as unfair due to complicated claim forms and low-value coupon remedies. In 2018, Pella reached a revised settlement worth nearly $26 million.
Separately, a class action over Architect and Designer Series windows resulted in Pella agreeing to pay $35 million, offering partial refunds or repair reimbursement. Pella has consistently denied the defect allegations throughout.
